Meet Jay Sharples, urban events organiser, prolific street artist and an old friend of our Manchester store. Jay is one of the most active voices on the Manchester street art scene. Working on the sprawling urban canvas of Manchester week in and week out, come rain or shine. Usually rain.

His body of work is expansive, yet each piece shares common traits: they're big, bold, and impossible to ignore. Jay has worked with an array of clients including the likes of The BBC, Sony Entertainment and Afflecks Palace. Still leaving time for personal endeavours, often adding more recruits to his ever-growing army of apes.
Beyond the streets and his curatorship, Jay has also established himself as a driving force behind some of the city's most popular urban events and paint jams. These events offer a platform for a new generation of artists to showcase their talents but also serve as forums where art lovers and local communities can interact.
